Protect files during processing

Occasionally, a lock icon may appear beside a filename while a background process is running. During this time, the platform temporarily blocks certain file management actions, such as Edit and Delete, and the Status column displays a spinning arrow to indicate processing is in progress.

Once processing is complete, the Status column changes to a green check. You can then remove the lock by clicking the lock icon once.

What creates the lock

The lock is an automatic safeguard, not a setting you can control. The platform locks a file when a background process is running (e.g. Reclassify) and you attempt an action that conflicts with it (e.g. Edit).
